How are activation limits handled?
Your ENERCALC License Agreement grants you permission to run up to a certain number of concurrent instances of the Structural Engineering Library, based on the number of "seats" you have purchased. The software ensures that you do not exceed your maximum permissible number of concurrent instances by requiring that the software obtain "permission" or "activation" in order to run.
To provide the maximum flexibility, we offer three different ways for the software to obtain this activation:
1. ENERCALC's Internet Activation system
2. ENERCALC's Network License Manager
3. Manual Activation Code.
Each of these offers certain advantages, and comes with certain limitations. Refer to the individual FAQ topics on the respective options for more information.
