Our licenses are single user licenses. The software can only be "Active" on one computer

 

This write up will assist you in moving your active software between computers.

 

 

When you originally activated the software most users use the [Internet Activation] ability of the software. To return this activation to our server so that it can be available to you on another computer you will [Internet Deactivate] the software.

 

Follow these steps

 

Start the Structural Engineering Library. You will probably see the “What would you like to do” screen seen to the right. You will need to press [EXIT] button.

 

 

Then make the main menu selections “Settings” and underneath it “Licensing” as shown.

 

 

You will now see the “License Information” screen shown below

Press the [Internet Deactivate] button you see on the screen to the right to return your “activation” to our server.

Note! You must allow the ENERCALC file “EC6.EXE” Internet access through your firewall or anti-virus software.

After a moment a “License Successfully Returned” window will be displayed.

 

 

 

Your activation has now been returned to our server and you can go to another computer, install the Structural

Engineering Library, and “activate” it using the [Internet Activate] selection on the licensing screen.
