Software Activation

The software operations in "Evaluation" mode until the license information is entered and activated.

There are two very simple steps to the licensing process : Entering the Product Control Code that you were given and then selecting "Product Activation".

The "Product Control Code" supplies your software with the "KW" registration number, Licensee name, License Code, Academic/Plan Check status and expiration, and maintenance plan expiration.

The "License Code" is a unique code assigned to each "Registration Number". Your "KW" number identifies you in the ENERCALC User Database and the "License Code" identifies you to our activation web server.

Each time you activate or deactivate the software the License Code is sent to the activation web server and the usage count for your license is recorded. So it's easy to deactivate on one computer and activate on another through the web server.
