Licensing Options

ENERCALC offers several software licensing options. These include single-computer, local network, academic and plan check licenses.

Single Computer Licenses are the basic license and are for use on one computer at a time. You are allowed to install the software on any computer you might use and with our simple activation system you can more your license easily between your computers without contact ENERCALC.

You can purchase multiple-individual licenses for your office....enjoying deep discounts for your additional licenses. Each of these licenses has the same flexibility to easily relocate your license to fit your needs.

Network Licenses are available for larger offices where you wish to have a number of engineers share a number of "simultaneous use" licenses. Just install the software on any computer that would be used to run the software and the Network License Manager easily grants the users permission to run up to your purchased license limit.

We DO NOT use "USB" keys to manage our licensing! This method is considered wholly inconvenient. Our software uses an Internet activation system that requires only a momentary Internet connection when you activate the software (using http over port 80).

Academic Licenses are available upon application by university professors. There is a $200 setup charge and there is no limit to the number of students allowed to use the software. The software has a fixed expiration date.

Plan Check Licenses are available to governmental review agencies for use verifying ENERCALC calculations which our clients submit. There is a $500 setup charge, there is no limit to the number of licenses allowed to run and the license expires one year after the license is granted. Technical assistance for installation is available once and ongoing support may require a fee.
