Technical assistance (along with other items like purchase discounts) is ONLY AVAILABLE while the users Maintenance and Support Plan ( MSP ) is in effect.
The ENERCALC MSP is included with your purchase for the first year and is renewable thereafter for one year periods.
Access to technical support, access to the On-Line Community, the ability to receive product updates (via web or a Cumulative Update Installation) and the ability to enjoy discounts on new products is only available to those users with an active MSP.
You can view the status of your MSP by selecting “Settings” -> “License Information” from the main program menu and the “Maintenance Plan” sub-menu item.
There are several ways to get assistance with using the Structural Engineering Library.
- Looking in the program documentation.
- Contacting ENERCALC technical services by fax : 949-645-3881
- Contacting ENERCALC technical services by phone : 800-424-2252 –or- 949-645-0151 and selecting Extension #2.
- Using the ENERCALC Online Community. This is accessed from your running ENERCALC software and requires a connection to the Internet. Simply select Help | Online Community. This is a forum available to ALL ENERCALC licensed users. This allows you to post questions and have other users respond. This community also provides area where you can discuss general engineering topics, other software, etc.

To report what you think is a "bug" you can use our web based Problem Tracking Support System (PTSS). Using the PTSS you can register a comment, uploaded sample Enercalc project files, screen captures, and your own demonstrative calculations. The PTSS will be used by our technical support team to handle most of the non-trivial technical issues and make the results viewable to the user base.
