Some users have reported better operation with the Structural Engineering Library in Windows Vista if it runs in Windows XP Compatibility Mode.
Here is the process to make this selection :
▪Click the Windows icon
▪Select "Computer" from the list of items on the right side of the list
▪Double-click on the disk drive where the program is installed
▪Double-click on the "Program Files" item in the list of folders
▪Double click on the "ENERCALC_6" item in the next list of folders.
▪Navigate in ENERCALC_6 and right-click on the EC6.EXE file
▪Select "Properties" at the bottom of the pop-up list
▪Select the "Compatibility" tab
▪You will see a "Compatibility Mode" section. Check the box labeled "Run this program....." and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the list.
▪Apply the change and close all windows.
