Some users have reported better operation with the Structural Engineering Library in Windows if it runs in Windows XP Compatibility Mode.
Here is the process to make this selection :
| ▪ | Selecting the window icon |
| ▪ | Select "Computer" from the list of items on the right of the list |
| ▪ | Double-click on the disk drive where the program is installed |
| ▪ | Double-click on the "Program Files" item in the list of folders |
| ▪ | Double click on the "ENERCALC_6" item in the next list of folders. |
| ▪ | Navigate in ENERCALC_6 and right-click on the EC6.EXE file |
| ▪ | Select "Properties" at the bottom of the pop-up list. |
| ▪ | Select the "Compatibility" tab |
| ▪ | You will see a "Compatibility Mode" section. Check the box labeled "Run this program....." and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the list. |
| ▪ | Apply the change and close all the windows. |
